it doesn't fly and shoot flames, and it doesn't in rod red, but this new exoskeleton suit does magnify human strength and endurance by as much as 20 times. it could even serve as an early version of the iron man suit.

the suit is being developed by sarcos inc., a robotics firm under contract with the us army. the suit is hoped to be used in combat in the future (gundam, anyone?), but for now it's only being used for hauling heavy equipt.

for now, the suit has too many disadvantages for it to be practical in war. for one thing, it's expensive. also, the suit is a tad slow (as you'll see from the video below). perhaps its ggest disadvantage is its battery power, which only lasts 30 minutes.
