64 gb mem storage in psp possible via pofast card adapter
how would you like 32 gb of storage on your psp? that sounds like an impossility, right? well, we recently picked up an email and some pictures from tipster hitori futari, who made tion of a special adapter that can do just that.
here's the pertinent portion of his email for you to look at:
stumbled over this gadget which makes external harddrives for psp pretty much obsolete. taiwanese based company pofast offers an adapter that can hold up to 4 sdhc memory cards, totalling in 32 gb storage for your psp! comne 2x 8gb sdhc in 1 of their dual slot adapters and double that!
they also announced that it could soon go up to 64 gb max. storage!! but that's not official news, one of the sales guys leaked that through... he also said that they continually implet sony's latest standards in order to keep their products compatible with any sony device. should be a pretty safe bet if that's true. besides that, using their ms pro duo adapter cr-5300 saves you quite some bucks since sdhcs are much cheaper than sony's official memory sticks.
this t of information certainly seems like something straight out of a dream. imagine what you could do with potentially 32 gb of storage on your psp (heck, even the 16 gb pointed out in the pictures below is a g difference)! that's a couple of movies, music, and some homebrew right there.
in any event, expect us to keep tabs on this intriguing developt. folks, you better hope this s out in your region, because it'd be such a shame if we didn't get to see this on psps everywhere.
thanks for the tip hitori futari!

acta anti-piracy treaty leaked: p2p ?threatens? lives
that new world order-sounding anti-copyright infringet treaty that we tioned a few days ago has been leaked. the proposal, at least. and yes, it looks just as frightening as the original reports made it out to be.
how does this grab you?
the consequences of such ipr [intellectual property infringet] include (1) depriving legitimate businesses and their workers of in; (2) discouraging innovation and creativity; (3) threatening consumer health and safety; (4) providing an easy source of revenue for organized crime; and (5) loss of tax revenue.
that last one is no surprise—what the tax man wants, the tax man gets. but “threatening” our health and safety? i fail to see how some kid downloading an mp3 off limewire endangers my life.
make sure to read the full doent. pretty great stuff. even better when you realize that hollywood money is funding the politicians to enact the treaty.

woman marries the eiffel tower!
from the telegraph:
“erika la tour eiffel, 37, a former soldier who lives in san francisco, has been in love with objects before. her first infatuation was with lance, a bow that helped her to be a world-cl archer, she is fond of the berlin wall and she claims to have a physical relationship with a piece of fence she keeps in her bedroom.
but it is the eiffel tower she has pledged to love, honour and obey in an intimate ceremony attended by a handful of friends.
she has changed her name legally to reflect the bond.
she revisits the mive structure as part of a doentary on five on objectum-ual wo. there are around 40 people in the world who have declared themselves os, all of them wo and many of them also asperger’s syndrome sufferers.
the os term was first coined by eija-riitta berliner-mauer, a 54-year-old woman who has been “married” to the berlin wall for 29 years.
before returning to paris for her first wedding anniversary, mrs la tour eiffel visits the berlin wall, where her affection for what many germans see as a symbol of repression leads to an uncomfortable encounter with a member of the staff at the checkpoint charlie museum.
“i just don’t understand how some people can bring someone into the world like a child - an object - and then not love them,” she said….”
